Lemongrass Organic Essential Oil is extracted from Cymbopogon citratus, known as 'oil grass', through steam distillation of its fresh or partly-dried leaves. This oil combats fatigue and refreshes the body and mind. It also helps keep pets free of fleas and ticks. Containing citral, it provides the main flavor in lemon peel.

Lemongrass oil relieves jet lag, headaches, nervous exhaustion, and stress, and boosts the parasympathetic nervous system for faster recovery and glandular stimulation. It tones muscles and tissues, relieving muscle pain, and treats sore throats, laryngitis, fever, colitis, indigestion, and gastroenteritis. It clears oily skin and reduces excessive perspiration but can irritate the skin, so use with care and avoid during pregnancy.

Native to India, lemongrass, or choomana poolu, is known as Indian Verbena or Indian Melissa oil. Used in Ayurveda, it helps reduce fevers and treat infections, earning the name 'fevergrass'.
